Covers the first hour of diagnostics, service, and repair. Most routine maintenance and repairs are completed within this time.

Parts are additional.

Additional labor

$125/hr

If more time is needed, I’ll call to discuss what was found and get your approval to move forward.

Repair Process

    Send a Repair Request

    Tell me what you have and how I can help.

  2. 02

    Arrange Drop-Off

    I’ll confirm your request by phone and we’ll arrange a drop-off date and time.

  3. 03

    Drop-Off Appointment

    Bring the equipment at your scheduled time. The $75 bench fee is due at drop-off, and your repair will be added to the service queue.

  4. 04

    Diagnostics & Approval

    The $75 bench fee covers the first hour of diagnostics, service, and repair. If parts or additional labor are needed, I’ll explain what I found, what the repair requires, and the expected additional cost. Nothing beyond the initial bench fee proceeds without your approval.

  5. 05

    Service & Testing

    Most routine services and repairs are completed within the first hour. Once the work is complete, I’ll test the equipment and make sure it is ready to go.

  6. 06

    Pickup

    I’ll let you know when it’s ready and arrange a pickup time. The remaining balance is due at pickup.

About Michael

With over 30 years of hands-on experience with amplifiers and audio electronics, an extensive background in recording, studio work, and electronic design, I look forward to meeting you and helping get your gear sounding great again.

Growing up in the electrical trade as a 3rd generation electrician, I have been taking apart, repairing, and experimenting with electronics since I was able to hold a screwdriver. Music developed alongside it, and the marriage of electronics and music came together while working in recording studios as a teenager.

Earning my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, with graduate work specializing in analog design, DSP, and vacuum tube applications, brought everything together in my pursuit to create more music, the instruments to do it, and the equipment to capture it.
